 How to setup IPTV on Smart STB

Smart STB is an android app which can be installed on Samsung and LG smart tv`s. This app enables you to have IPTV service on a portal just like MAG setup boxes with all characteristics that can be expected from MAG and Stalker Portal.

Activation of the Trial period

Step 1:  From the app market on your smart tv search, find and install Smart STB App.

After that, we can initiate the time for testing. To do that we first need to discover the Software MAC Address which is required for application activation on Smart-STB site.

To find Software MAC address do as instructed below:

Step 2: Now select “System Settings”.

Step 3: Now select “Device Info”.

Here you will be presented with a few information about the device and the Mac addresses.

Software MAC address which is required for app activation on Smart-STB website.

Virtual MAC address which is required for IPTV service activation on your IPTV provider server.

Step 4: Now that we understand the needed MAC address info, it is time to activate the app trial period. First, log onto the trial activation page of Smart-STB website by opening this URL https://smart-stb.net/index.php?_url=/order/unlock-custom-portal-for-smart-tv.

Step 5:Opening the link provided above should show you the earlier picture. The green arrow shows the proper field for entering Software MAC Address. The red arrow shows the field in which we can enter the stalker portal URL:  It can both http://ip.sltv.be:8080/c be entered from here or later from the app on your TV. Remember to check the Terms of service box before finishing up. In the end, click on Order Now

If you apply the correct information and add the correct Mac address, the above message should appear in green text.

Step 6: You require to register on their website eventually. So if you have not registered at the moment, we recommend that you do. https://smart-stb.net

Step 7: Now click on “CheckOut”.

Now as you can see, Order Status is set as Active meaning the trial period has started.

Activation of the paid licenses

Considering that Software MAC address and account registration on the Smart-STB side has already been done, upgrading to a paid license is very simple and easy.

Step 1: Log onto the smart-STB website and log into your account.

Step 2: From the left menu, click on “Services”. The free 7 days trial we activated earlier is listed. Now let`s add a paid license starting by clicking on “Order New Service”.

Step 3: These are the above paid monthly and annual licenses that you can subscribe to.

For example, if you subscribe to the lifetime bundle, the subscription status on the device info page will change to Paid as it is a lifetime subscription and never expire.

Installation of IPTV Stalker Portal

Now that the app has is activated, we need to input an IPTV source from a provider of your choice. From the device info page of the app, find Virtual MAC address and send it to the IPTV provider. They should register the MAC address on their system and provide you with a stalker portal URL. Once the portal URL is received, follow these steps to input it into the app:

Just like the first time we did it above at the beginning of this tutorial, right after Loading Portal sign shows up, press enter. You should see the Portal Settings page like the earlier picture. In Portal 1 URL type the desired name for the main portal and in Portal URL: http://xxxxxxxxxxxx/c Once done, press the Return button on the remote controller. Going back to the preceding page, Restart Portal must be selected. Next time you start the app, IPTV portal should load with bouquets and details of IPTV service ready to be used.

Step 1= Download and open the “Mytv Online” application

Step 4= In the “Service Url” section, enter the mag portal address sent to you

How to add IPTV channels to TVIP Box (New version)

Note: Do not forget to write the mac address written on the back of the box of your device while taking the trial broadcast.

You can use this tutorial if you have new TVIP boxes such as 605, 615, but if your boxes are an older version like 410, you need to update the TVIP box operating system or use the tutorial we prepared for older versions.

Step 1: After run the TVIP box and set the primary setting like language and time, Start from the main menu and go down to see the “Setting” and click on “TV” as depicted in the below picture.

Step 2: Now change the Content source to “Web portal” and click on “Setup Web portal”.

Step 3: Firstly change the API Mode to “MAG”, then enter “Portal URL:” http://xxxxxxxxxx/c. Then click “Apply” and “Restart”.

Step 4: After restarting the box in the main menu click on “Watch TV”, you must wait for the portal to load your playlist. This might take a few minutes.

Step 5: As you can see the channels will pop up automatically and you can select any desired channel and start the streaming.

How to add M3u Plus link to TVIP Box

Step 1: After run the TVIP box and set the primary setting like language and time, Start from the main menu and go down to see the “Setting” and click on “TV” as depicted in the below picture.

Step 2= Change the content source to “M3U-playlist” and click on “Set up M3U-playlist”.

Step 3= Enter M3U url which you receive from your IPTV provider here and click on “Apply” and “Restart”.

How to setup IPTV on BuzzTV?

Step 1= On the main menu, click on “Settings” as depicted in the below picture.

Step 2= Click on the Server option. You will have 10 different servers and mac addresses.

Please write your Mac address in the mac address part while filling the trial form.

Enter the Portal name and Portal URL then click on Connect button. Please wait a while for channel loading

– OE1.6 version which uses Python 2.6: It is advised to use this version on non-Dreambox receivers.

– OE2.0 version which uses Python 2.7: It is advised to use this version on Dreambox receivers.

So for our Dreambox of this example the command line should be like this:

wget -O /etc/enigma2/iptv.sh “http://tv.yourdns.com/get.php?username=your-line-username&password=your-line-password&type=enigma216_script&output=ts” && chmod 777 /etc/enigma2/iptv.sh && /etc/enigma2/iptv.sh

Copy/paste this command line on Telnet Terminal and hit enter.

Step 4: We suggest everyone to reboot the device once you execute the Autoscript command. To reboot the device just write “reboot” on Telnet terminal.

Step 5: After the Reboot, you will see on Bouquet list a new Group called “IPTV”.

How to add IPTV channels to Enigma2 using  XtreamTV plugin

Step 1: Start by downloading the necessary items. Download the XtreamTV Plugins and DCC_E2 (Dreambox Control Center for Enigma2), extract both of the files and open DCC_E2. After opening the DCC_E2, enter your Enigma 2 IP address and in the login section, you can use the word “Root” for both username and password. Now click on “reconnect“.

Note: You can find the IP address of your device under Menu>Information>Network.

Step 2: After connecting to your box successfully go to the “FTP” section and proceed to this path “/var/temp/”. In the right side navigate to where you have saved the XtreamTV Plugins and move it in the temp folder.

Information about which XtreamTV Plugin version you need to install in your box:

Mips32el is applied to the most boxes. For example VU zero, Vu+ Duo, Zgemma and often above openpli 4 boxes or new images.

Mipsel is applied to old boxes such as DM800 clones with old openpli 2.1.

Sh4 is applied to boxes similar to spark.

Armv7a is applied to new boxes like Vu+ 4k and gigablue sf4008.

Step 3: Now proceed to “Telnet” section and paste the following scripts and press “Enter“.

Step 4: After downloading and installing Plex, you can go ahead and launch it.

Step 5: Now you need the IPTV plugin for Plex. You can download the IPTV plugin for Plex by clicking here. http://iptvhelpcenter.com/uploads/plugins/iptv-bundle-master.zip

Step 6: After extracting the folder, you must paste the whole folder (IPTV.bundle-master) in this location: C: /users/”your computer username”/AppData/Local/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins

Step 7: After extracting the zip file, you will see a subfolder called contents, inside that folder, there is a file called info (.plist). Do a Right click on this file and select the option “edit with Notepad++”, you will notice this image:

Step 8: Now you must remove the bold section of the line: and leave only UseRealRTMP, just like the below image:

Step 9: Enter the folder “Contents” and open “resources”. Here you must download your M3U playlist and replace it with the playlist file which already exists in this folder.

Step 10: Move back to the folder “IPTV.bundle-master” and rename it to “IPTV.bundle”

Step 11: The PC part is done for now. Turn on your PS4, open the store and search for PLEX and download it.

Step 12: After downloading and launching Plex on PS4, you need a code to sign in to your account which you can go to https://plex.tv/link and enter it.

Step 13: As the final step, open Plex in your computer and then in your PS4 in order to watch the channels that you added earlier.

Please note: 

*The Plex needs to be opened all the time on your computer before watching the channels in your PS4.

*Don’t forget to close and restart PLEX on both PC & Playstation after updating the playlist.m3u inside the resources folder.

*The channels are also available to stream on your phones & tablets through the Plex app on your PC.

HOW TO SETUP IPTV ON XBOX ONE USING KODI?

Kodi, one of the most popular applications for streaming IPTV channels is now available to download for Xbox One on Xbox Live. This is excellent news for Xbox One owners, as the Kodi is an amazingly flexible and versatile software for streaming IPTV channels. With its vast support for third-party add-ons that can transform the software into a DVR, allow it to stream from numerous IPTV sources. The Kodi software for the Xbox One is still in its beginning steps, so you may face a few bugs or issues. Kodi’s appearance on the Xbox One is actually very symbolic, as the Kodi software started its existence as the Xbox Media Player for the first Xbox console and it was known as XBMC back in 2002.

HOW TO SETUP IPTV ON XBOX ONE

In this tutorial, we are going to show you how to bring IPTV channels to your Xbox One console using Kodi.

Step 1: Turn your Xbox One on and make sure it’s connected to the internet and that you’re logged in to your Xbox Live account. Go to the “Xbox Live store” and search for “Kodi”. If you don’t see it there, the app may have been momentarily removed from the Xbox Live store. Now install the app by clicking on “Download”.

Step 2: When Kodi first loads up, it will appear quite blank. It doesn’t contain any add-ons or doesn’t display the videos you have on your hard drive. What we require are some add-ons. In the main menu of Kodi, there is something called TV, this section allows you to add lots of add-ons and extra features to your Kodi. To install an add-on, advance to “TV” section and choose “Enter add-on browser”, then select “PVR IPTV Simple Client”.

Step 3: Select “Configure”.

Step 4: Select “General”.

Step 5: Now set the “Location” to “Remote Path” (Internet Address). 

Step 6: Select “M3U Play List URL”.

Step 7: Now enter the M3U URL and select “OK”.

Step 8: Now click on “Enable”.

Step 9: Wait for the channels to load until you receive the “channels loaded” notification.

Step 10: Now everything is ready for watching IPTV channels on your Xbox One using Kodi.

How to Setup PVR IPTV Simple Client Kodi

THIS ADD-ON IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE THEIR OWN M3U LIST SO THEY CAN ADD IT TO THE IPTV CLIENT TO WATCH CHANNELS.

There are two guides below that cover devices running Jarvis & below plus Krypton & above.

How to Setup PVR IPTV Simple Client Kodi Jarvis:

• Open Kodi
• Select SYSTEM or SETTINGS depending on your skin
• Select TV (or Live TV or PVR & Live TV if you are on a version lower than 15.2 and if you are then consider updating)
• Select General
• Select Enabled
• You will now see a pop-up saying that you have no PVR Client enabled. Select OK
• Scroll down and select PVR IPTV Simple Client
• Select Enable
• Select Configure
• In General select M3U Play List URL
• Add your M3U URL into the address section (you will get this from your IPTV supplier)
• Select OK
• Select OK again
• Reboot Kodi
• On your Home Screen you should now see TV (or Live TV if on an older version of Kodi). Open that to see the live channel list
• The list should look like this. Select a channel for it to load and play

The PVR Simple Client should now be setup with live tv streams available.

How to Setup PVR IPTV Simple Client Kodi Jarvis Krypton:

• Open Kodi
• Highlight TV

Select Enter add-on browser

Select PVR IPTV Simple Client

Select Configure

Select General

Location to Remote Path (Internet Address)

Then Select M3U Play List URL

Enter the URL of your M3U Play List (you will get this from your IPTV supplier) and select OK

If you have an M3U text file stored locally on your network/computer/box then set the Location to Local Path (include Local Network)

Then Select M3U Play List URL

Navigate to where the file is stored and select it

Select OK

Select Enable

Wait for notification of channels loaded

Now when you go back to the Home Screen and select TV it should look like this
